15 Empowering Beliefs To Survive and Thrive

It's been a tough 2020. But we survived because we were empowered by what we believe. Hopefully, we will continue not just to survive but to thrive. Let it be that your goal this new year 2021 is to thrive and flourish.

What we believe affects our decisions and how we live from day to day. No matter what the situation is, your convictions will play a big role on whether you will be happy, do what you need to or achieve what you want.

What Do You Believe?

Transform your life by saying and believing that

1. I have great potential.

If you put your mind to doing something, you can achieve it. It's exciting when you are about to  reach your true potential.

It is good to list everyday the things that you are thankful for. Whether big or small, express your appreciation to remind you how truly blessed you are.

3. I learn from my mistakes.

Sure, there are setbacks. But you if you learn the lessons from your mistakes, you can succeed the next time you try doing something again.

4. I know there is a reason.

Sometimes, you just don't know why things happen. But believe that God has reason for letting it happen.

If you continue to have courage and not lose heart, you can overcome whatever challenge you're facing. Remember the obstacles that you've already overcome. And see how far you've come and look at what's ahead.

5. Things change.

It is often quoted that "change is the only constant in this world." That is true. So as you work on the present moment, don't forget to be ready to adapt to changes that will come your way.

6. I dream big.

Make big dreams. I remember someone told me to make big dreams. Why not? It's free to dream.

Well, if you dream, you have something to look forward to. How you get to your dream is something that you've got to work on every day step by step.

7. I forgive.

Don't carry that heavy load of resentment and unforgiveness. Extend compassion to others just as God had compassion on you and forgave you. If you make a mistake, forgive yourself as well.

8. I share.

Jesus said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." That is why share your blessings. You would feel more joyful when you show an act of kindness to someone. It may be just a cup of coffee or an apple, but seeing the smile on someone's face is precious.

9. I am responsible.

Your future is affected by your decisions today. Much of what happens in your life is determined by your actions. So, before you make any decision, think about it thoroughly.

10. I work towards my successes.

Success feels great when you worked for it. You get full credit because you put value on the things you do that count towards success.

11. I leverage my strengths.

Know where your strength lies. Know what you are good at. Then, capitalize on that knowledge when you take action.

12. I listen to others.

When you're not sure, ask for feedback. Listen and consider the opinion of others. If you do that, you'll see that you can be more rational and balanced in whatever you decide to do.

13. I ask for help.

You can't do everything alone. So, it's okay to ask for help from people you love and trust - your parents, your siblings, your children, your friends or your church mates. You'll be able to accomplish more with the support of the people around you.

14. I look for opportunities.

When opportunities come, don't wait and see. Be willing to take a risk. These chances may not come again.

15. I try new things.

Don't be afraid to try something that you've never done before. Learn a new hobby like knitting or bake a cake and sell it. You may just discover a great talent of yours that will make you successful or happy.

Life is not easy. And you are not perfect. But if you keep on believing these things that have been mentioned, you'll surely survive come what may. More so, you will thrive and succeed in the path you take.
