Visit to D'Souza Resort & Events Venue in Marikina

I got quite busy this month with my writing projects that I almost forgot to write about our visit to D'Souza Resort & Events Venue in Marikina.

It was about a month ago when we visited D'Souza Resort. We did not go there to swim or attend an event. It was just a casual visit. The owners, Sabee and Nory D'Souza, were my husband's friends from Dubai. They were here for a short vacation and we went there just to see them and chat with them.

Our two girls came with us, too. They were supposed to be in school but classes were suspended because of a typhoon. The girls wished they could go swimming, too bad the weather was not cooperative. We just told them we will come back next time to rent the place and swim.

We arrived there at about 12 noon and my husband was glad to exchange stories with Sabee. We learned some of the stories behind their purchase of the private pool resort property (formerly called Plaza del Sol) and how they renovated the place. They replaced the entire pool tiles and upgraded the bathrooms. And when we were there, they were still installing some more ceiling fans.

We had a simple lunch together but the kids loved it. We had pork sinigang and adobo, which were cooked perfectly.

Now, I would like to share a few more pictures of the resort. There is a pool, a jacuzzi, a slide, grilling and dining area and videoke for rent in the pool area. The pool is not that big but it is 3, 4 & 5 ft deep, hence catering to both kids and adults. This private pool is not open to per person rates, but per group rates. The place where we ate our lunch is the area for holding events like birthday parties, debuts, anniversaries, weddings and other special events. It can accommodate up to 150 persons. D'Souza Resort also has 5 guest rooms for rent. We didn't see the rooms personally but the rooms have varying sizes and amenities.
