Move On and Reach Your Dreams

My children are already on vacation and enjoying the company of their cousins. My 3 children had their recognition day last March 25 while my eldest son’s graduation day was last March 26.

Last school year 2012-2013 was their first time to have their schooling here in the Philippines which was a big challenge for them. They had to make a lot of adjustments – the very hot weather, the mosquitoes, the first flood experience, new school, new classmates and so on. But, they finished their studies successfully. Praise God for helping them excel in their class.

A lot has really changed since I was in school. Back then, the only students given honor are those in the top 1, 2 and 3 spots. But now, in addition to the top 10 students, those who are excelling are recognized for their hard work, which I totally appreciate. My eldest was 6th honorable mention in his class. My 3 other children were Consistent Honors (meaning they didn’t have any grade lower than 88 the entire school year). Thank you, Jesus.

Kristel has finally received an award for being diligent in her studies. Actually, among all 4 children, she’s the most industrious and has the highest average grade ever since she studied. But because her classmates had higher grades than her, she never makes it to the top 10. Now, she finally had her medal in recognition of her efforts.

It’s still a long way to go and so I say “Move On and Reach Your Dreams” my children. Don’t forget to trust in the Lord always and you will succeed. I’ll always be here to love you, guide you and support you, no matter what. I’m proud of all of you.
